November Maintenance News for Waterworks

Happy Fall Waterworks Tenants!

We are happy to inform you all that we have scheduled some of the larger projects for beautifying our buildings, docks and grounds.

Landscaping

We have finally found a landscaper! Throughout the last week of October, we will be having the dead boxwoods out front replaced with new healthy plants! Monthly maintenance will be scheduled to keep our flower beds looking fresh and professional with some color being introduced in the spring.

Carpets

We will be having all the common area carpets in 1800, 1818, and 1836 steam cleaned on November 14th. They will not be visiting individual suites during this time. This will include all hallways and stairs.

Painting

On Saturday, October 31st, the painters will begin touching up and painting most of the walls in the common areas of 1800, 1818 and 1836. They will not be visiting individual suites at this time. If you need touch-ups in , please coordinate with management.

Thank you all for your patience while we get these much needed projects coordinated!

Maintenance News for Waterworks

Thank you all for your concerns about the appearance and cleanliness of our beautiful grounds here at Waterworks. All comments and concerns received by management are recorded and currently on the list of items to address. We apologize for any delay in addressing these issues and appreciate your continued patience.

As most of you may know, our maintenance tech is not on site full time. Any repairs that require urgent attention can be communicated to him directly via email or through our maintenance line. Our janitorial company, Empire Clean Team, is responsible for all nightly cleaning activities such as vacuuming and taking out the trash. Tenants are also welcome to contact Empire Clean Team directly with any requests or concerns.

Carpet Stain Removal - we have scheduled a deep steam clean for all the common areas in the building. This is about 2-3 weeks out. This should take care of all the stains on the first floor of 1818 and the stairs.

HVAC - maintenance and repair is scheduled, however the issue may take some time to resolve. We are aware that many of you experience individual issues with your offices that may seem unrelated to the overall problem. However, most of these issues are, in fact, interrelated and must be addressed as a whole problem.

Landscaping - we are working on acquiring the right vendor to replace all the dead plants and help keep the rest alive and well. Please be aware that our region has been experiencing significant climate change which seriously affects many plants we grow here in the PNW. Alternate shrubbery has been suggested by many tenants and we are certainly looking into the possibilities of more aesthetically pleasing and drought-resistant flora for the beds. As always, we sincerely appreciate the suggestions and concerns.

Restrooms - please continue to report any maintenance issues with the restrooms. We will always try to address them as quickly as possible. Management at Waterworks do not frequent all the restrooms in the building so it is important that problems are addressed to us immediately. Please keep in mind that all the restrooms on the dockside of 1800 and 1836 are accessible by marina tenants and their guests. It is not currently possible for us to monitor this restroom use over the weekends and holidays, so we do try to stock extra supplies for those times when there is expected increased traffic.

Trash/Dumpsters - please do not dispose of any non-trash items such as furniture, mattresses, boat parts and electronics. These items must be disposed of properly such as being taken to the dump or a trash hauling service. Please continue to report any people you see dumping unauthorized items and they will be held responsible for any removal fees.

Thanks,

Angela @ Waterworks
